Hilltop Hoods Join Future Music Festival

Our very own ARIA-winning hip-hop kings the Hilltop Hoods have joined the massive Future Music Festival 2015 line-up!

In what will be their first ever appearance on a Future bill, the multi-platinum outfit will be tearing up the newly unveiled Future Live Stage, Presented By Pringles all over the country.

The Hoods’ have had an incredible six months, releasing another #1 smash album (their fourth chart-topper) in August 2014’s Walking Under Stars, their seventh studio album taking out the ARIA for Best Urban Album last year. Meanwhile their irresistibly catchy single ‘Cosby Sweater’ is racing towards triple platinum, reaching #4 on the ARIA Singles Chart and coming in at #3 in triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2014 – making it their most successful single to date.

MCs Suffa, Pressure and DJ Debris first smashed through to the mainstream with their 2004 triple j hit ‘The Nosebleed Section’. In 2006 they released #1 platinum LP The Hard Road, which won them a J Award, while their subsequent two albums have each gone double platinum. Each year the band also host the ‘Hilltop Hoods Initiative’, which awards a $10,000 grant to emerging artists – in 2015 the round is open for applications now.
