The nominees for the 6th Annual Rolling Stone Awards have been announced, with acts from the Premier Artists roster nominated among a spread of categories including Live Act Of The Year and Best New Talent.
Melbourne’s one man music making machine Harts is nominated for Best New Talent after a breakthrough year that saw him travelling to the USA to jam with Prince at Paisley Park and the release of his debut album ‘Daydreamer’, which was also nominated for the 2014 Australian Music Prize.
Resident superstars the Hilltop Hoods receive a nomination for Live Act Of The Year, after spending 2014 tearing up the stages of major festivals like Splendour In The Grass, in addition to a massive run of headline shows in support of their platinum-selling 7th album ‘Walking Under Stars’.
Both acts also have tracks nominated for Single Of The Year, in addition to ‘Bad Apples’ by Briggs, the lead single from his ARIA top 20 sophomore album ‘Sheplife’.
