JR Reyne has always taken his own path, whether releasing his debut album at the age of 20 (‘Album of
the Week’ – Daily Telegraph) fronting bands ‘Rushcutter’ & ‘The Paradise Three’ (‘Artist you should know
about’ – Rolling Stone) or taking his solo-show (‘Armed with a mesmerising voice, harmonica and guitar’ –
Broadsheet) across the globe, gracing the bills of world-renowned festivals and touring alongside
Having returned to Aus from being based in the U.S. and touring Europe with Cat Power, JR wasted no
time releasing new music to the airwaves (Triple M Artist of the Week) and landing the lead in Paul Kelly’s
musical ‘Deeper Water’ with co-star Missy Higgins.
Reyne recorded the accompanying album in Auckland at Neil Finn’s Roundhead Studios before touring
with US hit‐makers ‘Train’ on their sellout national tour. Having starred in shows such as Neighbours,
Winners & Losers and recently on Channel 7’s number one show ‘The Secret Daughter’ with Jessica
Mauboy & the accompanying ARIA #1 Record’s “The Secret Daughter 1 & 2” Soundtrack’s – which
features hits performed by Reyne and Mauboy such as ‘Good Times’, ‘Rocks’ & ‘Plans’ – earned Reyne an
ARIA nomination. JR’s albums ‘Go On Easy’ – Vol. 1 + 2 are out now as well as a string of releases recorded
at his home studio during lockdown.
Having kept busy during the last few years with his popular IG-live show “Everyday Is Like Sunday” cohosting the successful podcast “Free Falling’, landing the role of Emmett Ellison on Home & Away – winning
the 2022 Logie Award for most popular drama – and having wrapped-up touring with Don McLean on his
final “American Pie” Tour, we can safely say that he’s stoked to be back out, doing what he does best –
